When to visit Tenerife?
Due to the pleasant weather all year round, you can come all year round, but each season is suitable for a different type of activities and for different age groups.
The summer season up to the holidays and Sukkot, the warmest months of the year, is especially suitable for families with children who want to enjoy the beaches, water park, water sports and dolphin watching cruises, diving, etc. and also travel a bit around the islands, preferably in combination with bathing on different beaches on the islands.
Prices in this season are expensive and hotel occupancy is high.
The autumn season up to Hanukkah: the relatively warm weather allows you to enjoy the same things as the summer season. In addition, as there is a decrease in congestion, prices are more affordable and there is less congestion in the hotels in the recreation areas until the Christmas holidays.
The pleasant weather is ideal for outdoor excursions.
The winter season up to Pesach is a season with generally pleasant, spring-like weather. Since the whole of Europe has a very cold climate, Tenerife and the Canary Islands attract crowds of tourists who come to enjoy the spring weather, which is perfect for hiking, cycling and even spending time in the sea, even though the water is cool. Carnival is also celebrated during this season, which attracts crowds of tourists. During this season, prices reach peaks on certain dates, but you can also find reasonably priced weeks. In the winter season, it is mainly childless couples who come, except during the Pesach holiday.
The spring season is the quietest and therefore also has the lowest prices throughout the year and little congestion in hotels and entertainment venues. An excellent time for outdoor excursions. Recommended for anyone who can come during this period.
How to get to Tenerife and how long does it take?
There are currently no direct flights, the best flights are usually via Madrid or Barcelona with a two-hour stopover and a total flight time of 9-10 hours. Another option is to split into two flights with one or two night accommodation in Madrid or Barcelona and combine another destination.
Since the flights are long, it is recommended to come for a period of 7-10 days.
To combine additional islands, add 2-3 days to each additional island.

The north, authentic green and cheaper prices.
The south is drier and warmer and more suitable for the sea, water sports and holidays.
The size of the island does not force it to be divided into two places as the distances are not very great.
But on the other hand, you may want to diversify and try more than one location or perhaps a different type of accommodation. For example, four days in a luxury hotel in the south and another three days in a holiday home in a rural area in the north or a holiday apartment facing the sea.
